CASHOUT
Doxo [CASHOUT!]
You can add a bill yourself — but only as a “manual biller”
You’re not really “making up” a bill the way you would create an invoice.
What you’re doing is adding a biller that isn’t in doxo’s system.
How to add a manual biller in doxo
1. Open doxo (app or website)
2. Go to Bills
3. Tap or click Add a Provider
4. Search for the name — it won’t show up.
5. Scroll down and choose:
“Add provider manually” or “Can’t find your provider?”
6. Enter:
• Name of the person/business you want to pay
• Address where doxo should MAIL the payment (doxo will send a physical check)
• Any account number or memo you want attached
7. Save it — now that person shows up as a “biller.”
BUT IMPORTANT
• doxo will send a mailed check to the address you provide.
• It can take 5–10 business days.
• The person doesn’t need a doxo account, but the address must be real and able to receive mail.
• This is the only way to use doxo for personal payments.
What you cannot do
• You can’t generate a fake invoice or fake bill inside doxo.
• You can’t “write a check to yourself” unless you set yourself up as a manual biller with your own mailing address.
